No Partisan Politics nor Social Issue Involvement

AZPE believes that educators are adult professionals who can make their own choices about supporting political candidates.  Therefore, AZPE never uses dues money to fund political campaigns, nor do we endorse political candidates. 

AZPE does work with elected officials to promote public education and to improve the quality of Arizona schools.

AZPE believes it is inappropriate for a professional organization to use member's dues to support controversial non-education social issues.  Members are free to support or oppose any issues they choose.  AZPE has not, and will, not take sides nor financially support such social issues.
